Popular Barcadi musician Itumeleng Mesoeu aka Vusi Ma R5, reportedly passed away in the early hours of the 30th of January 2023 after being shot by unknown assailants.
The Dj and Producer Vusi Ma R5 who was also known as the Barcadi King was shot dead in Soshanguve M17, Pretoria. He was performing at Majents Social Club.
The motive behind his killing is still not yet known, and his family, friends, colleagues and South Africa were left devastated following his sudden death.
His death follows that of Oupa John Sefoka aka DJ Sumbody who was also shot dead while on his way to a performance.
His younger brother who is popularly known as DJ Cooper told The Sowetan that the family learnt about the death on social media.
