Former President Jacob Zuma’s court trial has been postponed again. The court will rule on Zuma’s bid to have Advocate Billy Downer recuse himself on the trial.

This relates to the corruption allegations around the arms deal of the late 1990s. Zuma wants Billy Downer recused as the State Prosecutor on the trial.

High Court Judge Piet Koen has ordered that should the Constitutional Court dismiss  Zuma’s Special court appeal bid, the trial will proceed in November.
