SABC NEWS reported that the trial of five men accused of murdering former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa is expected to resume today in the Pretoria High Court.
The trial was postponed last Wednesday, as advocate Zandile Mshololo for accused number five laid out her demands.
She demanded an explanation from the National Prosecuting Authority about why it decided to charge her client and four others and ignored the other docket that implicates Kelly Khumalo and others.
Songstress Kelly Khumalo, her sister Zandie Khumalo, their mother, Longwe Twala and others who were in the house are cited as suspects on the particular docket.
Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed during an alleged robbery at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus in October 2014.
