The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial is currently on going at the Pretoria High Court.
Advocate Malesela Teffo told the Court last week that a witness will testify that Kelly Khumalo mistakenly shot Meyiwa using Longwe Twala’s revolver.
Longwe Twala was dating Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile Khumalo at the time of the shooting.
Both Kelly, Zandie, and Longwe were in the house when Meyiwa was gunned down in October 2014 at Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
Netflix released a documentary titled Senzo Meyiwa: Murder of a Soccer Star in April 2022. Now there are reports that another documentary by Netflix is coming to TV screens.
It is alleged that Kelly and Zandi Khumalo signed a R22 Million deal with Netflix to produce a documentary where they give their version of events on the day Meyiwa died.
