Lerato Kganyago’s husband Thami Ndlala is now being sued for arrears on a three bedroom apartment.
Ndlala is allegedly owing Stein City money. It is allaged that he went into a one year lease agreement for a property in Stein City, North of Johannesburg.
Lawyers told the High Court that Ndlala failed to keep up with the R25 000 monthly rentals which has accumulated to R225 000.
The property owners have approached the courts to compell Ndlala to pay. Ndlala told the media that he was helping a friend with the property.
He said he does not stay at the property, he got into an agreement with Stein City because his friend was blacklisted.
Ndlala added that he paid R50 000 deposit and one month rentals so that his friend could move in with his family.
He also said that he does not understand why the couple stopped paying rent because they were employed.
