Die hard soccer fan Mama Joy has been calling for the justice system to restore public trust and bring Senzo Meyiwa’s killers to book.
It took the police five years to finally make the arrest as the investigation keeps dragging on receiving criticism from the public at large.
Mama Joy told Newzroom Afrika that it is still hard to believe that Senzo Meyiwa is no more. The soccer star was shot dead in October 2014 in Vosloorus.
It was reported that it was an attempted robbery that went wrong. Meyiwa was at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s house when he was murdered.
Mama Joy described Senzo Meyiwa as an assert since he was the captain of Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana.
She revealed that they had a close relationship with Senzo Meyiwa. Mama Joy said she had a son and mother relationship with the late goal keeper.
Mama Joy added that the nation is still crying for Justice since no one has been charged with the murder.
