Newsroom Afrika reported that former president Jacob Zuma has suffered yet another legal defeat.

The Supreme Court of Appeal has dismissed his reconsideration application.

Jacob Zuma had asked the SCA to reconsider an earlier ruling which dismissed his request to have state prosecutor Billy Downer removed from the state’s prosecuting team in the Zuma trial.

The former head of state accused Billy Downer of being biased. Zuma is facing charges of corruption, money laundering and racketeering over $2billion arms deal in the 1990s.

However Jacob Zuma is not giving up on his application. He is challenging the decision that was handed by the Supreme Court.

Below is a statement released by the JG Zuma Foundation on their Twitter page.
