Minister of Police Bheki Cele and Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola have arrived at Namhla Mtwa’s family home in Mthatha.

This comes after an anti-GBV protest in the area, seeking justice for Mtwa and other victims of gender based violence.

There are allegations levelled against the Police in Mthatha. The Minister will visit the police stations for allegedly turning a blind eye on the matter.

Namhla Mtwa was shot nine times as she entered her driveway. Everything happened in front of Namhla Mtwa’s mother.
