ANC and EFF Demand Justice for Namhla Mtwa

The EFF, ANC, NGOs and other political parties marched to Mthatha Police station to demand for the arrest of those responsible for Namhla Hlehle Mtwa’s murder.

Mtwa was apparently killed by her boyfriend Major Mfesane Bhekezulu in her parents driveway.

She was shot nine times and was pronounced dead on the scene. Before her passing she was allegedly abused by her boyfriend Major Mfesane Bhekezulu.

Namhla was allegedly abused for 17 years by her boyfriend who went on to marry another woman.

King Buyelekhaya told the crowds that Major Mfesane Bhekezulu must hand himself to the police within three days.
