Daily Sun newspaper reported that Deborah Fraser’s burial is being delayed by floods in KwaZuluNatal Province.

Over the weekend mourners gathered in Deborah Fraser’s home town Durban in KwaZuluNatal Province to pay their last respects.

A second wave of floods wrecked havoc again in KwaZuluNatal Province starting on Saturday. The floods stopped the burial of the late gospel musician.

Water filled up Deborah Fraser’s grave making it impossible to bury her. Her body had to be returned to the mortuary.

The award-winning gospel star was set to be buried on Saturday at Lala Kahle Cemetery in Hillcrest, West of Durban.

The family told the publication that, Deborah Fraser might be buried on Monday 23 May 2022 as they believe the floods would have ended.

The 56 year old Abanye Bayombona hitmaker passed away on the 15th of May  2022 after suffering from stroke. She was also battling sugar diabetes.
