SABC NEWS reported that the Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner General Nomthetheleli Mene has reiterated her concerns about the acts of Gender Based violence.
She spoke against fermicide perpetrated against women and children in the Province.
She was responding to Sanga Nozinthathu Mtwa’s cry for help to get justice for her sister Namhla Mtwa.
Namhla was allegedly shot nine times as she entered her home on the 21st of April 2022 in Mthatha.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, Namhla was being abused by her boyfriend Major Bhekizulu Mfesane.
The Commissioner has made an appeal to whoever possesses critical information that will add value to the work of the investigating team and lead to the arrest of the suspect to please call 082 040 765.
