SABC NEWS reported that the funeral service for gospel musician Deborah Fraser is being held in Hillcrest in KwaZuluNatal today.
The award-winning gospel star Dr Deborah Fraser suffered a stroke a few weeks ago. She has been battling sugar diabetes for years.
Fraser passed away at the age of 56 at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto on Sunday.
Pastor Benjamin Dube who spoke to the media at the funeral said that they are sending away an icon and a legend of gospel music in South Africa.

Other gospel musicians present at the funeral service was Sipho Makhabane. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
