Last week Kaizer Chiefs pleaded guilty for fielding two ineligible players, Alden McCarthy and Mduduzi Shabalala in the DStv Premiership against Sekhukhune United in December last year.

Both players had not been properly registered for the league campaign. Kaizer Chiefs was slapped with a fine of R200 000.

Chiefs also missed two league matches against Golden Arrows and Cape Town City due to a Covid-19 outbreak at Naturena. The games were later played after a key arbitration decision.

It has now been confirmed that Amakhosi has been fined another R100 000 fine in relation to the Covid-19 saga from last year.
