ENCA NEWS reported that three suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of Hillary Gardee.
The three men named Mduduzi Gama, Sipho Mkatshwa and Philemon Lukhele abandoned bail during a brief court appearance.
ANC MP Chief Whip, Fidel Mlombo told the media that Philemon Lukhele used to work in the office of the Chief Whip in Mpumalanga.
Lukhele led researchers in the office during election times. He also led the communication department in the office of the Chief Whip.
Mlombo described Lukhele as a good man since he worked with him for many years. He said he is an intellectual human being who is educated.
Lukhele told the Courts that he knows Hillary Gardee’s father Godrich Gardee and that they have known each other for a very long time.
He added that his hope is that he will be cleared of these charges. The 28 year old Hillary was found dead on Tuesday last week.
