Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters have gathered outside the home of former Secretary General Godrich Gardee in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
The EFF leadership including the President of the Party Julius Malema are visiting the family following the murder of Gardee’s daughter Hillary Gardee.
The 28 year old Hillary went missing on Friday while shopping in Nelspruit and her body was found dumped in Mbombela yesterday.
The Police have assembled a team of investigators to investigate a murder case.
Police Minister Bheki Cele and Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola visited the family yesterday.
Julius Malema told the media that it is a sad day for South that the daughter of Godrich Gardee has been murdered by unknown people with an unknown motive.
He said EFF was in Mbombela to pay their condolences to the family of former Secretary General Godrich Gardee.
Malema added that the Party had committed to the family to finding the murderers. May Hillary’s soul rest in eternal peace.
