Minister of Police Bheki Cele has issued a stern warning to those who are stealing and plundering money that is meant to aid flood victims.
He said the President issued strict instructions for the arrest of such people. Cele said people must listen to their conscience and do what’s right.
Last week torrential rains wrecked havoc in Durban and parts of KwaZuluNatal Province leading to floods and landslides.
Thousands of families were left homeless and displaced as floods destroyed homes. Hundreds of people also died and some are missing.

The people are in dire need of assistance as they try to navigate through life after the disaster that also destroyed infrastructure.
