Mangaung City Manager Forcibly Removed From Office

Mzingisi Nkungwana who was appointed as acting City Manager of Mangaung was forcibly removed from his office.

A video of Mzingisi Nkungwana being forced to leave the office has been circulating on social media platforms.

Metro Police Chief, Israel Kgamanyane is seen in the video pushing Nkungwana out of the office. Security guards refused to help Kgamanyane who seeked their help.

It is reported that the it was the Mayor of Mangaung, Mxolisi Siyonzana, who wrote to Kgamanyane to get Nkungwana out of his office.

Nkungwana’s contract came to an end at the end of March 2022. Nkungwana wanted to occupy the office even though his contract had expired.
