Thembi Mthembu, who the widow of late Minister in the Presidency, Jackson Mthembu has passed away.
The Mthembu family confirmed that Thembi died in a Pretoria hospital on Thursday morning. She died at the age of 51.
The cause of her passing is not yet known to the public. The family will release a statement in due course.
Jackson Mthembu passed away in January 2021, due to Covid-19 related complications. He was 61 years old at the time of his death.
Mrs Mthembu worked as a nurse at a clinic in Mbombela, Mpumalanga Province, aswell as in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Meanwhile, the ANC has since sent their deepest condolences to the Mthembu’s, family, friends and colleagues. Below is the statement.
