Operation Dudula Leader Nhlanhla Lux Arrested Again

Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux handed himself over to the police in Soweto in connection with a common assault case from around three years ago.

The incident happened in September 2019 when he was arrested and appeared in court on 9 September. The matter was postponed to 30 September 2019.

However Nhlanhla Lux did not attend the court, leading to the issuance of his warrant of arrest. He was released on R1000 bail following his recent arrest.

Nhlanhla Lux said there is a witch hunt against him. His arrest comes just three weeks after he was released from jail on a house breaking charge.
