Residents Evacuated as Floods Hit KwaZuluNatal

Residents in holiday apartment blocks and homes were evacuated on Monday after heavy rains battered the town of Umdloti.

Flooding forced many to abandon their homes as torrential rains continue to wreck havoc in Durban’s North coast.

The floods left a training of destruction as water ran through apartments. The environment was not spared aswell as trees fell and gullies created.
