Google has honoured late veteran South African actress Nomhle Nkonyeni with a doodle on her 80th birthday.
The actress passed away on the 10th of July 2019 at the age of 77. She shared her gift with audiences, across the globe for five decades.
The actress appeared on several drama series and telenovelas that include, Scandal, Igazi, Isidingo Tsha Tsha and many more.
She received many awards including The National Order of IKhamanga in Silver for her outstanding contribution to the arts industry.

Nkonyeni was the first Black actress to perform at The CAPAB theatre in CapeTown.
