Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo is popularly known by his stage name Black Coffee.
The Dj won his first Grammy award at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held on the 4th of April 2022 at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Black Coffee won the Grammy for the Best Dance/ Electronic Music Album for his album “Subconsciously”.
He is the first African DJ to win a Grammy and a BET Award. He is also the most awarded DJ in Africa and the first African DJ to go on a world tour.
