Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux Dlamini was earlier today granted R1500 bail after spending the weekend behind bars.

Dlamini faces charges of house breaking, theft and malicious damage to property aswell as defeating the ends of justice.

His supporters have been outside protesting against his arrest. They all chanted and sang songs of celebration when Nhlanhla came outside the court.

Nhlanhla addressed his supporters from a podium and thanked them for their solidarity. He also thanked them for showing no fear and urged them to continue with their bravery.
