Legendary Maskandi artist Gawulezakhe Mbili, more popularly known as Sphuzo Sabantwana, has passed away at the age of 65.

The news broke on social media on Tuesday but the details surrounding his passing are still not clear.

The musician’s manager, Sakhile Cele, took to social media to confirm the unfortunate news.

Sphuzo was adored by the Maskandi community and even caught the attention of mainstream artists like Sjava and Black Coffee.
