Radio personality Lerato Kganyago has come out to reveal that the late radio veteran Bob Mabena was an advocate for women who worked on radio.
Lerato was amongst the many celebrities that came out and posted their tributes on social media after hearing the news about Mabena’s passing.
Lerato has been working on radio for quite some time now and thus she said the late radio legend supported her and so many other women in the industry.
She tweeted, ” He knew radio is full of misogynists so he always encouraged us to fight! He believed and encouraged so many of us! So much wisdom and knowledge, yet so grounded!”
She also posted a picture of herself and Mabena on Instagram and thanked him for the way he impacted her life and career.
Mabena died of cardiac arrest at the age of 51. His death was a shock as he was a legendary radio personality adored by many.
