Is Somizi Mhlongo Quitting Idols SA?

Rumour has it that Somizi Mhlongo is considering leaving Idols SA where he is a judge following the death of his mother actress Mary Twala.

Somizi is known for his stylish outfits, laughs, broken English, colourful hairstyles and of cause his signature exclamation ‘Woah Shame’.

Somizi and the whole of Mzansi is mourning the passing on of veteran actress Mary Twala who appeared on many soapies including Scandal and Generations.

Mary Twala died at the age of 80 and was buried yesterday. Somizi’s husband Mohale revealed that his husband was not coping.

The shooting of Idols SA 2020 has been delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown that started in March.

In June Somizi and co judge Unathi announced that they were ready for this year’s season. The passing of his mother has left him devastated and thus he might miss this season or quit for good.
