Tshegofatso Pule was found dead and hanging over the weekend. Tributes continue to pour for Tshegofatso including a #JusticeforTshegoPule on Twitter.
Her closest friend Zinhle Zwane told SABC News that Tshego was an energetic, kind and loving person. They were friends since Primary school when they were just six years old.
Zinhle could not hold back her tears back as she continued narrating the story of their friendship. She revealed that they were also planning Tshego’s baby shower before she passed on. Tshegofatso was eight months pregnant.
“The baby shower was supposed to be on the 27th of June. She was due first week of July, now she is no more. It was going to be a girl and she was too excited”, Zinhle added.
Tshegofatso was last seen leaving her boyfriend’s complex in Florida in the West Rand, Johannesburg. It was the middle of the night when she left and never came back or be seen again.
Her body was later found by the police hanging on an open field on Monday. Police confirmed that she was stabbed on the chest and was left there to die.
