Billionaire, Patrice Motsepe this afternoon launched a top song competition as part of Mamelodi Sundowns’s 50th years anniversary competition.
Motsepe said the competition was conseptualised by Motsepe’s son.
The rules of the competition will be as follows:
People at home will be able to compose song in any of the 11 official languages. The public will be able to vote for the song they like.
PRIZES
Every month the top songs in each langugage will receive R20 000
Motsepe said the song must be about Sundowns.
Grand Prizes
Top 7 songs will get the following prizes in December.
1st Prize – R700 000
2nd Prize – R 400 00
3rd Prize – R 300 000
4th Prize – R 215 000
5th Prize – R 200 000
6th Prize – R 150 000
7th Prize – R 100 000
Motsepe also announced that the board has extended Coach Pitso Mosimane’s contract by a further 5lr years.
Motsepe said they have significantly increased the salary for Mosimane’s, and was confident that no other club in the PSL can match it.
