The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) has announced the nominees for the 19th Annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs19), celebrating the theme ‘One Story. One Industry. Tshedza Pictures leads the nominations for the second consecutive year with 24 nods, including 10 for ‘iThonga’ and six for ‘Youngins.’ Quizzical Pictures follows closely with 22 nominations. Public voting for the Best TV Presenter and Most Popular Telenovela or Soap categories opened on February 19, 2026, and closes on March 11, 2026.
