
A 38-year-old man has been arrested in Pretoria at a filling station in connection with the murders of two cousins, Tshiamo Moramaga and Baleseng Moramaga, in Mamelodi, Tshwane. Their bodies were discovered on the side of the road in the Mahube Valley on Sunday.
The suspect is also charged with the attempted murder of a third woman, who was shot during the same incident and is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital.
The arrest was made yesterday by a joint team of detectives from the Gauteng serious and violent crimes unit, provincial crime intelligence, and local detectives.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Mamelodi magistrate’s court tomorrow on two counts of murder and one of attempted murder.
