Vinny Ndima Assassinated In Alexandra

Alexandra businessman and community leader, Vincent “Vinny” Ndima, president of the Alexandra Parliament, was shot dead in a violent ambush on Monday morning. He and his friend, Thabo Mahane, were attacked by heavily armed suspects who fired more than 40 rounds. Ndima died at the scene, while Mahane remains in critical condition after returning fire.

Ndima was respected for his community work, including providing food parcels, supporting funerals, and renovating homes. Days before his death, he had warned a local journalist about escalating shootings in the township.

Police have opened a murder case, and the community is mourning the loss of a man seen as both a hero and a crime fighter.
