A woman is trending after she was reported missing while on her way to a midnight prayer at a church in Newtown, Joburg. The woman, Mbalenhle “Miranda” Nkomo of Windmill Park in Ekurhuleni, was dumped by her alleged kidnappers at a petrol station after an alleged mistaken identity of their target.

In an update, her husband Sandile Nkomo said the abductors panicked when they couldn’t find the car tracker. They reportedly drove from Johannesburg to KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday and returned her on Sunday morning.
The abductors, according to Nkomo, eventually left her and the car behind after the car was seen at Ladysmith. Despite being shaken, Mbalenhle was not physically harmed.

Debate was raging among South Africans with some saying it appears like Miranda might have gone off to get some air, while some believed her story.
She is originally from Eswatini and has been married to Sandile for 13 years and they have children together. Sandile confirmed that they were not fighting before her disappearance.
