Tyla Wins Grammy Award For Best African Music Performance
South African singer Tyla won a Grammy award in the category of Best African Music Performance on Sunday. She won the award for her afropiano and RnB song Water which has gained global popularity.
Tyla accepted her award at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards premiere ceremony in Los Angeles. In her acceptance speech she said she never thought she would win a Grammy at 22. Tyla dropped her song Water in July 2023.
