DA Names Chris Pappas as KZN Premier Candidate

Leader of the Democratic Alliance Party John Steenhuisen has announced Chris Pappas as KwaZulu-Natal Premier candidate.

The Party is gearing up for next year’s elections. Pappas is the Mayor of Umgeni Local Municipality.

Pappas was recently named in the 2023 Time Magazine 100 next list, which recognised upcoming leaders from around the world.

The 32 year old was recognised for turning around the fortunes of Umgeni Local Municipality and his ability in balancing its budget for the first time in over ten years.
