Ramaphosa Unveils Nelson Mandela Statue in Mthatha #Nelson Mandela Day

South Africans are celebrating the life and legacy of late President Nelson Mandela who was the country’s first leader post apartheid.

Nelson Mandela was born on the 18th of July thus the day was declared the Nelson Mandela Day by United Nations in 2009.

President Cyril Ramaphosa unveiled the Nelson Mandela statue at the Nelson Mandela museum in Mthatha.
