The American ambassador in South Africa yesterday accused South Africa of supplying weapons to Russia in the war with Ukraine.
The accusations were made by ambassador Reuben Brigety in Pretoria.
Brigety told the media that the USA has concrete evidence that South Africa armed Russia in its ongoing war with Ukraine.
He added that a Russian ship named Lady R docked at the Simon’s Town Naval base in South Africa and left with loads of arms in December 2022.
