Mmusi Maimane Apologised to Gayton McKenzie?

Mmusi Maimane tweeted yesterday, that he was not going to allow Gayton McKenzie to be Mayor of Johannesburg. He said McKenzie was a criminal.

It seems Mmusi Maimane deleted the tweets after McKenzie had said he was not contesting. McKenzie thanked Maimane for retracting his tweets.
