Thabo Bester fears for his safety after spending a night from the very prison he escaped from.

Convicted rapist and murderer was brought back to South Africa along with Nandipha from Tanzania.

It is believed the couple was on their way to Kenya.

During his appearance at the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court addressed the court saying he has safety concerns.

He shared that he has not eaten for hours as he fears for his safety.
