Musician Arthur Mafokate is being accused of fraud and the Special Investigating Unit is on to him for spending millions belonging to the Lotteries Fund.
It has been reported that Mafokate is involved in the Lotto funds fraud scandal. Some of the property belonging to the musician has been seized.
Musical artists Cici and Chomie have been implicated in Mafokate’s scandal. Whistle blower Brian Mokwena named them on his affidavit which is at the police.
He wrote that some of the Lotteries funds was used to grow Cici and Chomie’s musical careers.
Brian and Arthur were close friends for over a decade and they worked together in the entertainment industry.
They both defended each other against social media rumours until their friendship ended in 2019.
