The 55th ANC National Conference concluded yesterday after the nomination of the top seven.

President Cyril Ramaphosa was re-elected as the President of the Party. His faction came out victorious after Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma declined any nominations.

Ramaphosa received more votes compared to his rival former Health Minister Zweli Mkhize. Former President Jacob Zuma and KwaZulu-Natal Province were backing Dr. Zweli Mkhize.

Zuma was interviewed by several media houses, but he refused to comment on the election of the incoming top seven leadership.
