Actress Sonia Mbele recently spoke about how she left Generations for the sake of her marriage only to get divorced a few years later.

Sonia Mbele went through a highly publicised divorce in 2014. She said she had to find herself again, and learn to love herself again years after her divorce.

The actress and Real Housewives of Johannesburg producer has found new love in the arms of a man from New York.

She met the man while travelling, the man is from Ghana but he lives in the USA. The actress revealed that it was love at first sight and that they started dating in 2019.

They have been travelling between the two countries to see each other since 2019.
