For two years residents of Kensington suburb in Johannesburg were terrorised by a theif who stole people’s property whilst they were asleep.

The man was nicknamed the Kensington Cat Burglar because he scaled high rise walls, squeezed through small burglars, and climbed high rise buildings to steal.

His reign of terror came to an end on the 2nd of November when he was busted while trying to steal a wallet at 2.am through a window of a two storey house.

The owner grabbed the Cat Burglar’s hand and held him on choke hold. The burglar failed to reach his pocket for a knife.
