Actor Hlomla Dandala Reveals Why He Left The River

Viewers of 1Magic telenovela The River were saddened when Hlomla Dandala left the show. The actor recently had an interview on Newzroom Afrika.

He spoke about his acting career that spans over 3 decades and the reasons why he left The River.

The actor is best known for playing many roles as an intelligent, leading man who always has everything under his control.

Dandala said if an actor stays for too long in a  character it becomes difficult to move away from it or to be perceived in another different way.

On The River, the actor played as a weaker man who is also a fool. The actor played the role of Zweli Dikana, husband of Lindiwe Dikana( Sindi Dlathu).
