Accused No1, Advocate Billy Downer and accused No2, Karyn Maughan are in the dock. Former President Jacob Zuma is the Private Prosecutor.
He is prosecuting the two for flouting s41(6) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act. The two appeared at the Pietmaritzburg High Court today.
They appeared to answer to the private prosecution former President Jacob Zuma has instituted against them.
The case was postponed to the 2nd of February 2023 pending the finalisation of bids from from State Advocate Downer and News24 journalist Karyn Maughan.
