Former Finance Minister Tito Mboweni’s bank account was hacked over the weekend. Atleast R19 000 was stolen from his bank account by the criminals.
Mboweni confirmed the incident to the media but he refused to name the bank. He noticed that money was being stolen on Saturday night.
He received bank notifications on his phone after the money was withdrawn from his account.
The former Finance Minister also told the media that the matter was currently being handled by his bank.
