Another mine dam wall collapsed at the troubled Jagersfontein mine in the Free State Province.
Kopanong Mayor Xolani Tseletsele said the situation could have been a result of earlier heavy downpours in the area.
Water from the dam is flowing through the neighborhood of Charlesville. Police are monitoring and controlling the traffic in the area.
Two weeks ago a mine dam wall collapsed there leaving a trail of destruction. The news was reported by SABC NEWS.
