Twenty one people were reported dead in a horrific crash on the N2 near Pongola in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on Friday.
The crash involved a truck and a bakkie that was transporting school children. The fatalities include two adults and 19 children.
The truck driver fled the scene of the accident. Police immediately launched a manhunt.
The truck driver handed himself over to the police today. He was reportedly speeding his truck leading to the accident.
