King Misuzulu Arrives Accepts Reeds at Umkhosi Womhlanga (Reed Dance Ceremony)

AmaZulu King, Misuzulu KaZwelithini has arrived for the annual Reed dance at the AmaZulu Royal Palace of Enyokeni in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal.

The ceremony was previously impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The King will accept reeds presented to him by the maidens.

The Traditional Prime Minister of the Zulu nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi accompanied the King to the ceremony (Umkhosi Womhlanga).
