Girls in KwaZulu-Natal travelled to Emachobeni Royal Palace for the Reed dance ceremony which was held on Saturday.
This is the first traditional ceremony to be held and headed by King Misuzulu KaZwelithini. The King’s wives were also dancing at the ceremony.
Misuzulu KaZwelithini is married to Queen Ntokozo KaMayisela and Queen Nozizwe LaMulela.
The King took over the throne following the passing of his father King Misuzulu KaZwelithini and his mother Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.
