The White House has confirmed that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will meet US President Joe Biden in Washington later this month.

The meeting is expected to focus on their differences over Russia.

The Biden Administration is looking for African nations especially South Africa in particular to condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

They want South Africa to join Western sanctions against Moscow.

Minister of International Relations, Dr Naledi Pandor said this will provide the presidency and his U.S. counterpart a chance to strengthen both political and economic relations.
